Dreamwalker

Somehow, this dog has an ability. And his ability is to modify and enter the dreamspace of any sleeping person under REM, transferring his physical form into the target (or dreamer)’s subconciousness. Typically, his ability works best when hidden from the dreamer’s mental lucidity, though can be sensed should the dreamer become more aware or if he decides to show himself as a miniture form of an animal of his choosing (usually, a dog). Deg can only enter one dreamspace per day.

Deg is able to talk in dreams as a human would, notably with the emotional maturity of a young child.For brief moments, he is able to manually simulate scenes, based on the dreamer’s memories. After voluntarily exiting a dreamspace, the dreamer maintains a weak mental connection with Deg and can still hear his human voice while awake, though this side effect fades after a day or two.

Should the dreamer wake up abruptly, the dreamer actively resist Deg’s dreamwalking, or if Deg overexerts his ability onto the dreamscape, the dream(s) will detoeriorate and Deg will be forcefully removed from the dreamer’s mental space, returning to physical form.
