Self-Published Bio

“Having been born with a monstrous appearance, Jason Whitman often found himself the subject of bullying and harassment by his locals peers and communities. After having an encounter with someone who also happened to have Electi Abilities, Jason vowed to himself that he would find a way to protect his kind from what he went through in the future. Why he decided to settle down on becoming a lawyer is a story for another day, though if you ask him, he didn’t choose to become a lawyer, the law chose him.

Enrolling in the legal studies classes offered by the City of Vitric’s esteemed Illustrio Academy, Jason overcame all the odds and hardships that he encountered, graduating from the school with his law degree in hand. He would soon go on to quickly rise through the ranks of the law world, helping both his fellow Electi Individuals and regular people see justice. Jason frequently took on what seemed too impossible to win cases, always doing so with a big, toothy grin on his face.

Everything all culminated for Jason the day he was made aware of a case that originated in a small town halfway across the country. An Electi Individual, a girl named Carrie Thompson, was on the verge of being sent to prison for a crime that was, in Jason’s own words, heavily exaggerated by both witnesses and law enforcement. Taking the case for the young girl, Jason was able to convince the judge and jury to change Carrie’s outcome. Instead of being sent to prison, she would instead be sent to a special rehabilitation school for Electi Individuals: ERA.

The case, being as heavily publicized as it was, would go on to slingshot Jason’s reputation to the stars. He was able to achieve a level of stardom that most people in his business weren’t able to achieve. He was akin to that of an A-list Hollywood celebrity. He was so popular in fact that eventually the Electi Rehabilitation Academy, the very same school he got Carrie Thompson sent to, offered him a once in a lifetime opportunity. He would spearhead all of the academy’s legal cases. From Electi-related mishaps to Human-Electi Individual lawsuits, Jason Whitman would be there to fight for the academy and all of the people like him attending it.”

Addendum

The explanation above cannot, I repeat, CANNOT be 100% verified. What can be verified is as follows:

  • While it is true that Mr. Whitman did indeed attend Illustrio Academy, official records of his time there are muddied. Many files on him are either tampered with in some way or are just simply missing outright.

  • Mr. Whitman’s tales as a lawyer appear to be highly exaggerated. It is known for certain that while he did take many Electi-related cases, not all of them were something to write home about. A good portion of time, Jason was only able to get the minimum sentencing for his clients. For the cases that he’s been able to actually win, many outside sources bring into question his ethics and tactics both in the courtroom and outside of it.

  • Mr. Whitman did indeed hear about Ms. Thompson’s legal case and offered to represent her on his behalf. How he managed to win her case, whether due to him actually being a competent lawyer for a change or just sheer dumb luck, is still being debated to this very day. What isn’t being debated, however, is the buzz surrounding the case. Mr. Whitman will make it seem as if the court case was on the same level as the OJ Simpson murder investigation. In reality, it was just a run of the mill court case slightly enhanced by the accused being a less than natural Electi user.

  • Mr. Whitman is, in fact, currently employed at the Electi Rehabilitation Academy. How he got there, as well as whether or not he really is “spearheading” all their legal operations or just one of the many lawyers on their payroll is currently unknown.
