Sayuri is one half of the niche japanese celebrity idol duo, Android Petals, alongside her twin sister, Nariku. Android Petals was a modest success in Japan, and Sayuri and Nariku traveled to and from America to perform in venues owned by their families in Las Vegas.

Sayuri is an endlessly optimistic, excitable girl with the attention span of a goldfish. She often acts according to her impulses rather than common sense, which usually leads her to satisfy her endless appetite for fun by doing whatever strikes her as enjoyable at the moment. She brings her lack of impulse control to her music, employing unorthodox methods to produce sounds that most people, including herself, struggle to describe.

She is rarely seen without her sister, who makes sure to keep Sayuri in check from herself, and her powers.
