Professor Walt Hampshire is a 46 year old man from West Yorkshire who spent most of his life learning the inner machinations of various instruments to be able to replicate them with his mind using his soundwave altering electi ability. He became a well renowned musician, despite not actually knowing how to play any sort of instrument.

He is a strict, traditional self-proclaimed gentleman who tends to brag about his vast knowledge in the field of music. While not teaching, he enjoys relishing in the fine arts with a cup of tea from his treasured personal collection of which he cannot stop talking about.

Being an Electi himself, he gladly accepted ERA’s offering of becoming the resident music theory lecturer that nobody wants to run into in the hallways, as he most likely will throw a demeaning comment or one that will give off an air of superiority that will be hard to ignore.

He can be quite uptight and daunting to deal with at times, but beneath all of that class, elegance and sense of self-importance, there’s a lot of kindness hidden beneath his rigid exterior that is able to shine through whenever he sees his students progress with their talents, as well as when he doesn’t feel things are right.

He sticks to the rules due to him believing that they had been put in place for a reason, but if said reason doesn’t quite make sense to him, he’ll be willing to bend it or straight up ignore it if it means he will end up helping someone deeply in the process.
