The core of ERA Academia. Everything that has to do with the actual “going to school” portion of campus life happens on the main complex, right in the middle of campus grounds.
Main Halls
The main area(s) of any given building/lecture hall in the Academy. Also functions as the Campus Quad.
[On Discord, consider this the #general of RP.]
Classrooms
Classrooms vary in size and location, and much like a normal college, are used by different professors depending on the schedule. In the RP, two types of classrooms are used as settings:
Classroom 1: One of the lecture halls, able to seat up to 200 students at a time. These are for general lectures, open class-related RPs, or misadventures that require a lot of room inside.
Classroom 2: One of the many smaller classrooms, for classes that only have 40-50 students or fewer enrolled. These are for more intimate interactions between a Professor and their students, or for club meetings, private office hours, or simply in case Classroom 1 is occupied.
Cafeteria
Where students get their grub on. It is the general dining hall of ERA, which has a rotating menu of varying quality and meal portions. The average dining experience may also vary on who is working behind the counter on any given day.
Indoor Pool & Gym
A decently-sized fitness center, dedicated for students and staff to stay healthy, fit and active, or for a good excuse to keep their swimsuits and pool noodles all year-round. Includes an Olympic swimming pool, weight gym, ball court, and running track.
Library and Clubrooms
One of ERA’s only places to finally have some peace and quiet (sometimes). As the last and only bastion of hope for students to actually do any modicum of studying, the admittedly understaffed library is widely regarded as a neutral ground for opposing groups of students, namely members of the Black Market.
Medical Ward
A medical wing in the staff area for people to get their injuries treated, schedule routine physicals, pick up their prescriptions, or seek psychiatric care. Though typically headed under the superivision of Dr. Seanen Goldman, Nurses Melanie and/or Misty are almost always on call in lieu of the doctor’s absense for class lectures.
Roof
Usually the rooftop of the library, or occassionally one of the classroom buildings. Providing a great view of the academy and surrounding mountain range, up on top of the fenced-off rooftop is the best place for private talks, conclusion for arcs, and general cheesy drama.
