The (Unofficial) Factions of ERA

The Clover Team were trusted members, employees, associates, and friends of Skyber and her Four-Scaled Clover Casino. Members assume roles typically seen in traditional casinos, though often deviate heavily from the job description.

Prior to the Rock-A-Thon concerts, the casino and its associates were by and large kept a secret amongst Skyber’s close-knit inner circle of Nova, Lucas, and Brown. The three were initially tasked with finding more employees who could keep a secret and were willing to help Skyber with future projects. Leaf, Kai, Pearl, and others joined, though did not stay long aside from Pearl.

Upon looking to expand her influence across more of the student body, she took advantage of Collateral Damage’s popularity and made herself their sponsor, helping them win while also protecting them from Karen and Sean, outside threats to both the band and her prospective employees. Since then, the size of the casino staff doubled. New employees included Kay, Hugo, Sybil, and Fraise, though Hugo was quickly fired due to a mishap involving a major security breach, threatening the sanctity of the casino.

Amid growing concerns and increasingly hostile tensions brewing, especially from her most loyal members at the time of Skyber’s Tournament, Skyber was coerced to cease all activity, putting the Clover Team out of work until the disaster that was the Orbeez Incident, apart from a now-unionized Kay and Brown. During the Incident, Artemis and Gyssabel joined the Clover Team, contributing to the effort of solving the mystery behind the event, and bringing the perpetrator to justice.

During the Wildcard Emissary, the Clover Team reunited in greater numbers than ever before to band against the corrupted AR Machine. Their final mission was to control the spread of the Machine’s effects, stop their enemies from becoming too powerful, and find a way to destroy the Machine once and for all. After their pyhrric victory against the Machine, which had connected with Skyber’s innate godhood to threaten the entire school, Skyber and her closest associates had discovered her own past. Conflicted with her own image, Skyber disavowed the Clover Team and shut down the Casino, in order to avert suspiscion for anyone who remembered. Now, many members participate under a more subtle guise, the Games and Recreation Club.
