After crazy rich Asian Pearl rejects soft-boy Saki’s crush on her for holistic troublemaker Splats, Brown (the new student with amnesia of his past before ERA) attempts to cheer his roommate up with some company and cheap booze. Saki is uncertain where they would even find alcohol on campus, but Brown assures him that Skyber (certified giant dragon woman) always keeps stashes hidden around her most frequented locations, and that she wouldn’t miss a bottle or two.
The boys enter a classroom that Skyber is enrolled in, and uncover a ceiling tile to procure an entire crate of vintage Vegas wine, as Brown promised. Their Shark Therian roommate, Magnus, is able to detect the smell and joins them in their debauchery, while Dr. Ernst (stereotypical mad scientist) stumbles upon the party and condemns them, warning them of Skyber’s actions if not careful. A now-drunk Dorm 3 fail to heed his warnings and shoo him away.
Pearl and Splats send their nudes to Saki, hoping to get a rise out of him. As an act of retaliation, the boys send back a picture of them with Skyber’s wine. Skyber, Pearl’s roommate, sees the image and immediately takes action to stop the three-man party. Upon arriving at the classroom, Magnus panics and accidentally drops the crate, breaking the entire stash of expensive wine.
As punishment for stealing her wine, she strikes the fear of God into all three of Dorm 3, Brown especially for coming up with the idea in the first place. They are forced to return to her dorm tomorrow with as much wine as they stole, or face certain doom.
They visit the general store on campus, run by Karen, an upperclassman with anger issues. She refuses to sell alcohol to the underclassmen, but with Saki attempting to flirt his way into convincing her, a stressed out Brown threatening her, and Magnus just stealing the wine anyway sets off her nerves, and she attacks. Her coworker joins the fray, and together they are able to drive the boys out of the store. Magnus, however, still manages to steal some cheap wine, so as to not return empty-handed at least.
Meanwhile, Pearl questions Skyber’s grandiose attitude and her over-the-top approach to getting the boys to right their wrongs. But just as she prepares to tell her off, Brown appears, apologizing for the wine incident. He asks not to go hard on Saki, who he did all this for. Pearl, hearing all this, refrains from intervening as Skyber forces Brown into debt, making him repay her for the foreseeable future to compensate for the damages. However, Saki and Magnus arrive not seconds later, presenting the subpar bottle of wine. Skyber unleashes her wrath, banishing them from her dorm. Still mad at Saki for previous relationship drama, Pearl ends up congratulating Skyber instead, further encouraging her behavior.
- (Bitch.)
Magnus is witnessed falling off the rooftop of the library and dying from his injuries, presumably committing suicide. Brown, the most devastated by this tragedy, assumes the stresses of the school must have gotten to him. Saki thinks it was murder, probably from Karen who wanted to tie loose ends. Either way, Magnus is remembered as a symbol for the tragedy of Electi everywhere.
- “I Want To Believe” with the shark therian’s face is now a popular trendy T-shirt design amongst students.
Splats finds Brown still stressed out of his mind from Skyber. To ease his nerves, she cheats on Pearl with him in a one-night stand. Pearl learns of this and is justifiably livid, except blames and attacks Brown, who didn’t even know they were official. (wow.) Saki comes in to stop the one-sided fight, but Splats is able to convince him Brown started the affair, and gets Saki to pin the blame of Pearl’s rejection on him. Somehow, Splats also convinces the exes into a threesome with her, and Pearl kicks Brown out of the dorm leaving an electric scar.
Brown finds friends in new students, Knowledge (ex-tribal girl from Egypt) and Leaf (Fox-Raven Therian hybrid), who act as his emotional support. Knowledge, however, is justifiably weirded out at first and keeps her distance; Leaf is a much better listener, and they bond over their shared taste for iced tea and lemonade. Meanwhile, Pearl, Splats, and Saki get into more relationship drama.
Nova, Skyber’s eldritch significant other half, learns of the wine incident a month or two later and provides much better emotional support for Brown, cementing their relationship as true friends.
Nova convinces Skyber and Pearl to invite Brown over to their dorm for dinner. Brown, scared out of his pants, attends out of fear of what would happen if he refused. Turns out, Skyber forgave him and cleared his debt long ago, and was only furious because he stole, not because the wine was expensive. Meanwhile, Pearl apologizes for how much of a bitch she was, now that she and Splats broke up and is now with Saki. Everyone buries the hatchet with beer and burgers.
