As per Kate’s suggestion, Brown goes to find Artemis in her room and the two catch up, recalling everything from the arc. Brown tries to ask her out, but she rejects him, saying that she and Kay are together now. Brown is devastated, breaking down in her bed and accusing her of leading him on even though she knew of his crush the whole time. He blames Kay for every misfortune he’s had on not just the love triangle between them, but also everything she managed to effortlessly succeed in wherein he had failed. Artemis tries to console him that this is not true, but assures him he will find a better girl than her someday. Brown leaves, believing a guy like him will never be cut out for love.
