Bio

Kay, previously known as The Emerald Reaper and Knowledge, is a young woman with a hazy past. The ex-huntress has traveled the world and carries a wealth of stories and wisdom to draw upon, despite her seemingly young age. When there’s a threat to her home and those she loves, she is one of the first to stand up to it with fierce determination and confidence. Whether this unbridled confidence is a strength or weakness, only time will tell.

Séo is well-versed in herbal remedies, poisons, homemade explosives, hand-to-hand combat (heavily influenced by capoeira), and swordplay. Due to her time at ERA, Kay’s more laid-back demeanor has come to the forefront, causing many of these skills to become dulled due to her more domestic living circumstances. With her more expressive side safely emerging and growing, she brings a vibrant energy that never fails to uplift even the most sullen students around campus. Bashful, reckless, and silly are just a few of the new words people use when referring to the infamous ‘Emerald Reaper’ in her new role at ERA.

Despite her more open personality developed at ERA, recent rumblings from the underground and the frequent violent encounters caused by the Wildcards have led Kay to revert to old habits. She now keeps her cards close and will swiftly deal with those who oppose her and her way of life. Because above ground or below, an enemy could lie around any corner…

Electi

Kay’s Electi Ability is tied to her Telekinetic Gem, which she has named the ‘Kine Emerald.’ This ability allows her to move objects with her mind, and as a unique side effect, it makes Kay lighter than the average human. To use her ability more effectively, Kay often prefers to touch objects intricately before using her telekinesis. This tactile interaction helps her remember the volume and capabilities of the object, making it easier for her to manipulate it. For example, this habit can aid her in recalling the inner workings of certain types of locks, allowing her to open them more easily. However, if Kay cannot see an object, it becomes significantly harder for her to interact with it using her telekinesis. Remembering specific details can make such tasks much more manageable.

Kay faces several unique challenges with her telekinesis. She cannot telekinetically lift anything heavier than what she can lift physically. The side effect of her lighter body weight makes her susceptible to being lifted by strong winds or by most people. Additionally, if her gem cracks, she loses her ability to use telekinesis correctly and her sense of balance. Her telekinetic ability can often be a double-edged sword and requires intricate control in most situations.
